Hi! I’m Jen— content writer, creative soul, and perennial optimist. I’m also a freelance writer with over a decade of content marketing writing experience.
I live in western Canada in the beautiful city of Calgary, working with clients all over North America and Europe. I’m most delighted by good humans, great books, and strong coffee. I’m co-host of the Ontario wine chat on Facebook and the past Director of Marketing + Communications for TEDxYYC.
With experience in communications, digital marketing, and project management, I bring senior-level strategy and execution to every project. My specialty is using content to connect with your audience, using just the right blend of story and strategy.

Ontario Wine Chat – #ONWineChat
I’m co-host and co-creator of the Ontario wine chat bringing together wine enthusiasts, producers, and industry experts to discuss and debate topics related to the production, selling and enjoyment of Ontario wine. After five years as a weekly Twitter chat, we now keep over 800 members connected within a Facebook community group. (2013 – present)
TEDxYYC
I joined the TEDxYYC communications team in 2017 to help tell the story of Calgary’s largest and most well-attended independently-organized TED event, serving as the Director of Marketing & Communications until May 2020.
